At ICSEF we train young women with a bachelor’s degree in gastronomy. Support us to grow our restaurant school.

La Terraza restaurant school is a venture of the Institution of Higher Education ICSEF to help the professionalization of rural women in economic, geographic and social vulnerability. From the institution’s workshops, the students prepare Colombian dishes, mainly lunches, for the academic community, as well as for diners in the municipality of Silvania in the Sumapaz Province. Currently, the demand for lunches is increasing, so it is necessary to have a means of transportation: a motorcycle, which allows direct distribution of gastronomic products.

This project is based on the academic training model that the students receive, which is based on the Swiss dual model of: Learning by doing. La Terraza is able to generate income from the transformation of food during the learning process, which will be used for the benefit of the students. Likewise, it also requires necessary inputs for production in the training process such as uniforms and culinary utensils.

In ICSEF we transform young Colombian women with higher technical education in gastronomy.
